Marielle Requin
Co-Founder & Director
Mrs. Marielle Requin is the co-founder, director of Human Development Training & Services Ltd and Centre Manager.
She is a Gordon Training International accredited trainer for Parents Effectiveness Training (PET) Workshops since 2017.
She acquired experience in the field of training in soft skills during her exciting pioneering years within cabin operations at Air Mauritius Ltd, experience shared as co-founder and former Director of Flymates Ltd.
She enriched her experience working with young adults and was subsequently called upon to head the "Youth, Couples and Family" Department at the Cardinal Jean Margeot Institute of the Diocese of Port Louis.

Marielle holds a diploma in Quality Management.

She also holds a certificate in Social Leadership.

She is trained in active listening skills, currently pursuing her training in Carl Rogers' Person-Centered Approach.

She is engaged in pastoral care for couples as well.
Françoise Labelle
Co-Founder
Mrs. Françoise Labelle is the co-founder member and the former director of Human Development Training & Services Ltd.
She is the representative of Gordon Training International in Mauritius since 2015.
She is also a benevolent trainer for the Teachers Effectiveness Training (TET) and Parent Effectiveness Training (PET) workshops at HDTSL.
Françoise holds the following academic qualifications:

Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in Marriage & Family Therapy.

BSc (Hons) Psychology.

Diploma in Business Administration.

She also followed a train the trainer course in Mediated Learning Experience for Parenthood Education and Conflict Management/Nonviolent communication program.
Director & Programme Officer
Ginette Fernand
Mrs. Ginette Fernand is Director and Programme Officer with HDTSL. She worked at Loreto College as Rector, School Manager and Science Teacher.
Ginette is also a certified trainer for Gordon Parent’s Effectiveness Training workshops.
She worked as science teacher, rector and school manager at Loreto College, Rose-Hill.

She holds a Bachelor Degree in Applied Science from Swinburne College of Technology among other qualifications.

She is a certified trainer by CLER AMOUR ET FAMILLE (Centre de Liaison des Équipes de Recherche - France) for matters pertaining to sexuality and life education.

She is also trained in the "Parent Mediators" method.
Voiletta Poon Wai Wam
Trainer
Mrs Violetta Poon Wai Wam is a Gordon Training International accredited trainer for Parents Effectiveness Training Workshops.
She is also a trainer in “Communication for Core Groups” which is an interactive session for families and small groups.
She is currently the director of a school for children with special needs and has extensive field experience in vulnerable social environments.
Violetta worked as coordinator and project designer of social projects at the Joseph Lagesse Foundation.

Violetta holds a degree in Social Work and a diploma in Human Resources Management and Business management.

She also holds a Certificate in Social leadership.
Trainer
Grace Lai
Mrs. Grace Lai is a counseling psychologist and a certified trainer in “Parent Effectiveness Training Workshop” at HDTSL. She also offers private sessions by appointment.
As a counseling psychologist, Grace has acquired extensive experience throughout years of practice. Her professional journey involves working in diverse settings such as NGO's, schools and her personal practice. She provides therapy and counseling services to individuals of various backgrounds. This multifaceted experience enriches her understanding of human behavior and mental health, sharpening her ability to tailor interventions to meet the unique needs of each individual.
Furthermore, Grace also provides counseling services to organisations such as SOS Femmes and is also a trainer for the Zippy programme run in schools.

Grace graduated in 2013 with a BSc in Psychology with a specialisation in counseling.

She completed an MSc in Counseling Psychology in 2016 from Bircham University.
Eric Bell
Trainer
Mr. Eric Bell is a trainer for the Sustainability Training Programme at HDTSL.
He was part of New Mauritius Hotels for 19 years as Administrator of CSR department among other tasks. He headed the "Fondation Espoir Développement Beachcomber", the Social Foundation of that group, to develop social projects for the employees. He also developed and managed social projects for other organisations such as MCB & CIEL Groups.
These projects aimed at the empowerment and development of beneficiaries, notably young people and women, within the fields of employability and sustainability.
He was also a Part-Time Lecturer at UOM, Telfair, Sitrac and Mauritius Research Council.

Eric holds a master's in engineering within the following fields: Statistics and Information Technology from Grenoble University.

He also holds a bachelor's in economics from Toulouse Capitole university.
